Guantanamera cigars came to the world’s attention in 2002 and have become a universal success. Prior to this, they were only available to cigar smokers living in Cuba. The leaf used to make them comes from the Vuelta Arriba district of Cuba, second only to the Vuelta Abajo district for producing quality cigar leaf.
The Guantanamera Cristales is a machine made (mecanizado) cigar which aficionados would probably avoid, but as an entry level Cuban cigar for newer smokers, they have proved very popular. They are mild with a price tag that doesn’t require a mortgage and offer an insight into the world of Habanos cigars.
Pre-cut and presented in a clear tube for protection, this mild easy to draw cigar gives the smoker that unique Cuban taste, great for any occasion.
