Zino is a premium cigar brand produced by Davidoff, one of the most respected names in the cigar world. It’s named after Zino Davidoff himself, a true pioneer whose love of cigars and travel played a big role in shaping today’s premium cigar culture.
For the latest release in its Zino brand Davidoff have been quite adventurous and hit the nail on the head with the brilliant Zino Honduras range. Going back to Zinos roots, these cigars are made from 92% Honduran tobacco finished with a dark Equadorian wrapper.
Completely different to the Zino Nicaragua, the Honduras offers a taste experience unlike that of any other Davidoff cigar lines. The cigar emphasises on the rich flavours of the Copan tobacco, which requires the longest ageing process, it is aged for approximately three to five years, adding a smooth creaminess that softens the harsher notes. Add to this The Jamastrán valley tobaccos which have spicy and intense flavours. The result is a fantastic harmonised blend that won’t disappoint.
Quite a complex, intense smoke, you will get a nice balance of flavour and strength with a unique combination of rosewood, orange and cream. The Toro will give you around an hour of pleasure.
Although taste wise these cigars are something completely new, there is no mistaking the Davidoff quality. These cigars are beautifully made with a perfect construction. The draw is faultless and the burn is even.
